It often happens that our Customers ask for some advices in relation to the Filing Nails after Gel Nails Extension, meaning if it is possible to file Extended Nails at home.

In these cases, our advice is always to do no more than a few small retouches, thus performing a little and gentle filing: if they are filed in a not suitable or excessive way, in fact, the risk would be that of damaging the Nails Extension and compromise its duration!

An intense or too aggressive filing could change the "thickness" of Work and thus compromising the equilibrium of the Nail, ruining in this way the entire Nails Extension!

For a more "important" filing, then, we suggest you to go to your own Nail Technician of confidence, that will know how to proceed without causing any damage to your Nails.

If you want to proceed on your own for a slight filing at home, always remember to avoid using Nail Clipper or, even worse, Nail Scissors because you run the risk of breaking the entire Nails Extension and to break the Nail Tools!
